LAUNCH F18 is delighted to present La French Connection, a two-person exhibition featuring the work of Caroline Denervaud and B.D. Graft.  This exhibition was proudly curated by the Paris based gallery, DOUBLE V Gallery.  This special presentation opens to the public on Saturday, May 7, 2022 and remains on view until June 11, 2022.

B.D. Graft was born in 1988 in Cologne, Germany. Working mainly in the fields of collage and painting, Graft’s focus primarily lies on exploring concepts of ownership and the deceptively decorative. Graft has exhibited extensively throughout the world including The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, South Korea, France and the United States. Recent solo exhibitions include "Bees and Other Important Things," Double V Gallery, Paris (2021),“Trying To Feel More Yellow Than Blue,” Nina Sagt Gallery, Dusseldorf, Germany (2018), and “The Art of Yellow,” Mute Muse Gallery, Seoul, Korea (2019). His debut solo exhibition, "Planted Thoughts" opened in New York opened with LAUNCH F18 in early 2020 to much critical acclaim. B.D. has also collaborated with programs such as Uprise Art as well as a fashion collaboration with Off-White. Graft lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

 

Caroline Denervaud is a Swiss artist, born in Lausanne, CH in 1978.  Denervaud’s work is movement-heavy and relies on a complete immersion in emotions.  Denervaud has exhibited extensively throughout the Europe including ambitious solo exhibitions in France, Italy and England among others.  Recent solo exhibitions include "Fugue," Double V Gallery, Paris (2021); "Build Yourself A Garden," Roman Sviridov Gallery, Milan (2021); and "Du Geste A La Couleur," Otomys - St. Vincent, Antwerp (2020) among others.  Denervaud lives and works in Paris, France.
