Press Release

LAUNCH F18 is delighted to present a unique exhibition and viewing room, LAUNCH F18: 10 Years.  This special exhibition features a selection of artworks highlighting the many collaborations and exhibitions the gallery has organized over the past 10 years.  Featuring work by: Corinne Bernard, CHIAOZZA, Omari Douglin, Austin Eddy, Insil Jang, Frankie Rice, Hank Willis Thomas, Nelo Vinuesa and Bradford Willingham, LAUNCH F18: 10 Years opens on March 6, 2021 and remains on view through April 3, 2021.

LAUNCH F18: 10 Years will feature a selection of works (both at our New York location and in online viewing room) from gallery artists as well as artists who have made valuable contributions to the program over the past 10 years.

Since first opening at 373 Broadway in March of 2011, LAUNCH F18’s passion has focused on presenting and supporting emerging and mid-career artists through unique, artist-led programming. Over the course of the past ten years, the gallery has organized over 60 exhibitions in New York as well as institutional surveys throughout New England.

In 2014, the gallery relocated to 94 Allen Street in New York. It was there that we organized a selection of presentations including solo exhibitions by Matt Ducklo, Nathaniel Robinson and Eric Freeman among others. During this chapter, the gallery occupied two main exhibition spaces as well as a store-front window located at 95 Orchard Street (artists such as Jack Pierson with Tabboo!, Austin Eddy and curator Dan Nadel utilized our 95 Orchard Street storefront space, which allowed 24hr street viewing) and allowed for significant exhibitions in both our main exhibition space and unique projects in the store-front space simultaneously.

In March of 2016, the gallery relocated to its original location in TriBeCa where it remains to this day. In this most recent chapter, LAUNCH F18 has welcomed artists B.D. Graft, Meena Hasan and Didi Rojas to our roster. With our long-term commitment to our artists and the incredible re-birth of the TriBeCa gallery scene, LAUNCH F18 is excited to venture into our next decade of organizing ambitious and meaningful exhibitions.

This is a special time for LAUNCH F18 and we are proud to highlight many of the artists who have been part of the galleries success over its 10 years. Their impact has influenced our programming in important and exciting ways and we are forever thankful for their time, effort and creativeness.

The gallery would like to give special thanks to its roster of artists, staff and to those who have supported the program throughout the years. Without the help and support of so many, it certainly would not be what it is today.
