Future Fair 2022

CHIAOZZA

May 4 – 7, 2022

Press Release

“The concept of play is integral to our process — as a way of working together within a loosely structured arena, as a tool for shifting our momentary understanding of reality, and as an illumination of brightness and immediacy that speaks to the human spirit.”

– CHIAOZZA

LAUNCH F18 is delighted to share an incredible new series of wall works and a new sculpture by collaborative duo, Adam Frezza & Terri Chiao of CHIAOZZA. This special presentation features a selection of recent works currently on view at the second in person edition of Future Fair at Chelsea Industrial. Future Fair opens to the public on May 5, 2022 and remains on view until May 7, 2022.

For this special presentation, Chiao and Frezza feature a selection of new paintings, grid sculptures and pulp paintings, from their ongoing catalogue of various works.  Combining their minimal, yet playful gestures with organic form and representation, this collection of new works captures the artist's highly recognizable style and visual symbolism.  With hints of minimal abstraction, Chiao and Frezza create the stunning essence of colorful arrangements by brilliantly utilizing line and color with remarkable precision and sophistication.  Through their almost reductive like process, they’ve created a series of works that at their core carry a wonderful lightness to them, capturing the playful and gentle barrida from one form to the other, and one vibrant color to the next.
