Launch F18 is very excited to welcome a new chapter in 2015. As we say goodbye to the past year, we also bid farewell to our 373 Broadway location, where over 40 exhibitions have been curated since our opening in 2010. We are proud to announce the opening of our new location at 94 Allen Street in Manhattan's Lower East Side, in March of 2015.
94 Allen Street features a ground floor, storefront gallery and a lower level secondary exhibition space. The new space allows Launch F18 to present large-scale solo exhibitions, two person shows on designated floors, and group exhibitions. Our new location also has a small project space viewable at 95 Orchard Street where we will be exhibiting a wide array of rotating artists.
We are also excited to officially welcome David Deutsch to our team as partner/co-owner of Launch F18. David comes with a background as an accomplished painter, curator and creator/director of the PARC Foundation. David has organized many exhibitions in the past including a 2007 co-curated survey of the work of Peter Young at MoMA P.S.1. We are delighted to have David's gifted, creative force joining Launch F18.
In addition, we are delighted to announce that photographer Matt Ducklo and installation artist Nathaniel Robinson have joined our current roster of gallery artists. It is a privilege to be working with both of these talented artists. In March, our inaugural exhibition at 94 Allen Street will feature new photographs by Matt Ducklo. This will be Ducklo's first exhibition at Launch F18 and Nathaniel Robinson will have his first solo exhibition with Launch F18 later this fall.
Our roster will proudly continue to include Nathan Dilworth, Andrej Dubravsky, Tyler Lafreniere, Erika Mahr, Frankie Rice and Bradford Willingham. Tyler Lafreniere will also inaugurate our new space in March by producing a full-scale installation in our project space on 95 Orchard St.
Lastly, we are pleased to welcome Sara Maria Salamone as Assistant Director & Sales Director. Salamone is a photographer and curator herself, earning a bachelor's in photography at Hampshire College and her Master of Fine Art in Photography from Parsons The New School for Design. Salamone also comes from a diverse and experienced background, having worked at Casey Kaplan, site95, The Armory Show, Frieze New York among many others.
Launch F18 is more than enthusiastic to embark on this new chapter. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the past four years and look forward to seeing you at 94 Allen Street in March.
