Press Release

Sawdust is a solo-exhibition of recent paintings by Sam Trioli on view at the LAUNCH F18 Project Space in Peterborough, NH. The exhibition is on view for three days only: Friday, June 23 - Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 11am - 5pm.

In this new work, Trioli continues to examine his own process and fascination with abstraction and the capabilities of paint as a medium. Focusing solely for the fist time on completely abstract painting, this new series of paintings evolved out of a project of self portraits he created for an exhibition at Marc Straus Gallery in New York City. Though the work would not immediately portray that direct connection, it certainly opened the doors to this path and personal examination.

Sam Trioli was born in 1984 in Concord, Massachusetts and grew up in New Hampshire. He is a contemporary artist, curator and musician currently living and working in New York City and New Hampshire.
